Why should you lose weight? Obesity can create many problems for you. High content of fat in your body can affect your health in many ways. Your heart, liver, kidneys and joints in the ankles, knees and hips become vulnerable to the adverse effects of excess fat in your body. If you can not do without a non-vegetarian dish, then you can include a few pieces of lean meat. If you get hungry in the middle of the afternoon, you can take dried fruit with z cup of coconut water, vegetable soup or tea with lemon.

Your dinner can include whole grain bread, vegetables steamed seasonal fruits other than apples and bananas. Make sure your meals are composed mainly of low-calorie foods, fruits and vegetables. Dairy products such as cheese and butter and red meat should be avoided. Reduce the salt content in your diet, since salt is known to contribute to weight gain. Foods that should be used more are mint, mint tea, spices such as dry ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, honey and vegetables such as carrots (especially in the form of juice), bitter gourd, the pestle. Things to avoid are rice, potatoes and other carbohydrate-rich foods and meat courses.

Exercises:
A simple exercise such as walking or running will be a great help in reducing your weight. Swimming and rowing are also very effective.

Things to avoid:
Smoking, drinking, high consumption of coffee and irregular eating habits should be avoided.
You will find you are able to lose weight naturally by changing your eating habits, following a simple exercise plan but steady and avoid unwanted habits.
