5 Foods to avoid when stressed

5 Foods to avoid when stressed

I know many people will disagree with the title of this article, but it is true that many foods affect your mental stability. There are many things we eat (almost every day), which we should not, especially when we are stressed. I can prove that food affects stress levels in an individual. Remember how you typically HOG on food when you are very tense? Well, that proves my point!

Talking about food and stress, there are some things you need to remember. Eat something you really like, that's fine, as long as you eat in limited quantities. Just because you're hungry does not mean that you are free to monopolize your favorite ice cream. You need to know how much to eat for the sake of your health.

Most fat people you see walking on the streets are very stressed. It's a vicious circle - you eat when you are stressed and you are very tense because of the food you eat. So I'm here to tell you the following five foods that you should avoid when you are tense something:

Fried junk food - with double cheese burger or fries sound good when you're hungry, not when you are stressed. When you eat in tension, you tend to gain weight, what makes you tense again (since most people are always conscious of their appearance)
Cheese - Did you know the cheese could actually slow your thinking levels? Well, now you know. In fact, most people who suffer from migraine are suggested to avoid cheese or whatever needs cheese for preparation. For example, migraine sufferers prefer to avoid pizza and club sandwiches with cheese.
Sodas - Who does not like a can of soda or soft drink? We all love to drink, especially when we have nothing to do or we are stressed. But soft drinks can really add to your stress level. Do not trust me? Do some research and find the truth for yourself!
Café - We can not live without coffee, can we? I always preferred sipping a cup of hot black coffee when I was stressed out, until my doctor told me to stop. Coffee, especially black, has many negative effects on your body!
Chocolate - Many people believe that chocolates function as antidepressants, but eating too much of them can not only increase your weight, and your stress level.
