Super healthy breakfast foods that will give you a nutritional boost



Eating breakfast every morning is a healthy habits to have if you're watching your weight. Several studies have shown that breakfast prevents overeating later in the day, giving you a nutritional boost and the rise in your energy levels simultaneously. Choose - and keep track of - the foods you eat for breakfast will have a significantly impact your weight loss efforts and overall sense of well-being. While some are packed with zinc, iron, calcium and magnesium, others provide significant amounts of vitamins, fiber, and antioxidants.

1. Raspberries

2. Oatmeal

Oatmeal has long been one of the healthiest foods available - and it seems that a number of studies deem as an excellent choice for breakfast. 3. Flaxseeds

Two tablespoons of flaxseed pack more than your recommended daily intake of omega-3 and fiber and lignans, an antioxidant with powerful effects against breast cancer. Add flaxseed to a green smoothie or sprinkle on top of your oatmeal for a super-nourishing matching.

Keep in mind that flax seeds will pass through your body without being digested, so make sure you buy the ground or grind it yourself at home.

4. Blueberries

When added to a glass of unsweetened, nonfat Greek yogurt, blueberries become one of the most delicious food for breakfast. Although small, these fruits pack a big antioxidant punch that will protect your body against free radical damage and prevent a wide range of life-threatening conditions, including cancer. Moreover, studies show that blueberries may improve memory, motor skills, blood pressure and even metabolism, which makes them a must-have for all morning meal.

Take a cup of blueberries with a few leaves of spinach, two tablespoons of flax seeds and a pinch of cinnamon in your blender, and mix until smooth. Add ice cubes and keep the mixture until frothy smoothie for a rich nutrient refreshing.

Aside from blueberries, raspberries and flaxseed, oats, there are many other healthy breakfast foods that can turn your morning meal in a nutrient punch.
